On a large environmental block with views to the creek, this new house is designed as a retirement sea-change for the owners. Embracing the surrounds and encouraging environmental engagement, the design features spaces for any occasion, be it a quiet place to read, a shared coffee, a lunch for four, or a large Christmas gathering. The roof lines help to extend the building into the landscape, drawing the occupants towards and into the multiple outdoor areas.
